The existing caretaker house is approximately 175m2 and is composed of a residential building and an attached garage. The construction is located approximately 150 meters to the south-east of the Lafayette Escadrille Memorial in the Parc de Saint Cloud. The visitor building will be comprised of a multipurpose welcome area with the possibility of including interpretive exhibits, public restrooms, and a staff area.

As part of the project, the adjoining landscape is to be developed to maintain a coherence with the building’s new purpose.

This visitor building is within the immediate confines of the Memorial, and the coherent integration of the building renovation and landscape within the overall site is of primary importance.
